The Planner/Scheduler is responsible for the safely, efficiently, and effectively planning, scheduling, and closing work orders to comply with all client procedures and to meet or exceed all contracted performance metrics. The Planner/Scheduler must ensure the highest level of professionalism, while meeting the client’s needs and the performance metrics.
The Planner/Scheduler reports directly to the Planning/Scheduling Coordinator works closely with the WOA Group and Lab Equipment Coordinator to insure that work orders are being processed efficiently and closed properly in a timely manner so as to meet all contractual obligations.
The Planner Scheduler is classified as essential personnel and, as such, is required to work with minimal amount of absences and during all Amgen closures except in the event of a major disaster when access to the facilities is prohibited by governmental emergency personnel.
This position is responsible for the planning and scheduling of work orders. The Planner/Scheduler works closely with the entire Technical Support Team and technical staff to ensure that all work done at the site by work orders is safely and properly input, scheduled, and closed out to meet all contracted performance requirements.
Be proficient in and perform work as needed to include, but not limited to: CMMS data entry and management; preventative maintenance scheduling; corrective maintenance and general maintenance planning and coordination; using maintenance libraries;visit job sites for work order clarification; confer with work order requestors as required; review and prioritize work for the team.
Identify safety hazards as part of the planning process and assist in the incorporation of remediation of such hazards to ensure that the building’s staff and occupants work in a safe environment. Implement, administer, and manage safety training program for staff
Assist the Coordinator to ensure that compliance of all regulatory laws and guidelines are met as they relate to the work being scheduled. Responsible for alerting management of any safety concerns.
Assist the Coordinator as needed in the development of a Capital plan which would include planning for infra-structure upgrades, equipment replacements and building modifications to ensure the building’s future capabilities are maintained.
Responsible for ensuring that projects performed at the building are properly planned, executed and closed out in accordance with standard industry practices.
Assist the Coordinator in maintaining all infrastructure and compliance documentation for the building and equipment including up-to-date drawings and single-lines as well as documentation mandated for the purpose of maintaining regulatory compliance with Federal, State or Local law.
Responsible for ensuring Data Integrity of all work order information.
Assist the Coordinator in providing weekly, monthly, annual, and special projects reporting as required.
Ensure quality requirements for maintenance service(s) are met for equipment with a Level 1 classification whether provided by Company or its subcontractors. Comply with all Client procedures and practices and obtain written approval to contract out work on Level 1 equipment from Client prior to starting work. Ensure that work is performed by qualified personnel whose work is subject to inspection by Client maintenance or quality assurance staff.
May be required to travel to alternate sites.
REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS
A HS diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum of five years of relevant work experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of Maximo.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent computer skills, including a working knowledge of Word,Excel, Maximo, and MS Project
Knowledge of lab equipment and lab procedures.
Knowledge of building systems and equipment reliability.
Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings, and use maintenance libraries.
Knowledge of Planning & Scheduling methodologies and Reliability Centered Maintenance programs.
Knowledge of FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and Root Cause Analysis methodology and investigations.
Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment and master new skill sets quickly.
Commitment to promote and support a collegial and supportive work environment for all staff.
DESIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in aseptic or GMP regulated manufacturing environment.
Maintenance of a valid State Driver’s License and good driving record.
