Company Live is also the largest producer of music festivals in North America from the critically acclaimed Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival to Stagecoach Country Music Festival and New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
Company Live / Goldenvoice are seeking a Payroll Manager to join the festivals and venues Company website Payroll Manager is responsible for the implemention of new payroll system at all Goldenvoice venues and festivals. This position will develop detailed training sessions addressing know issues and user errors, create roll out schedules and track performance.
Essential Duties:
• Responsible for strategizing and implementing the roll out of T-Sheets to all Goldenvoice venues. Develop roll out schedules and track performance.
• Develop detailed training sessions addressing known issues and potential user error. Train and communicate with all departments (pre-show) to ensure their preparation for the payroll system during festivals.
• Moniter employee on-boarding, both venue and festivals. Ensure employee onboarding is completed with full CAPS ETC compliance.
• Work closely with Human Resources and Risk Management to ensure Goldenvoice is compliant with local state and federal laws.
• Work with VP of Festivals on financial reporting pertaining to payroll. This includes, but is not limited to, helping create budgets and analyzing data.
• Process payroll weekly using T-Sheets and CAPS. Set payroll deadlines and communicate those deadlines with all festival departments departments to ensure they are met.
• Work directly with employee’s to ensure they are properly trained. Answer all CAPS and T-Sheets issues or inquiries, noting common user error.
Required Qualifications (Job Knowledge, Skills, and Education):
1. A minimum education level of: Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree (4-year)
2. Years of related work experience: 3-5 years
3. Stong computer skills with proficiency in Excel
4. Finance or Accounting background with knowledge of payroll laws and guidelines
5. Great interpersonall skills with the ability to handle large volumes of employee interaction with grace
6. Must be able to handle confidential matters with absolute discretion
7. Understanding of how the live music industry operates
8. Must be able to work flexable schedule including long hours, nights weekends and some holiday
9. Must be able to travel often, spending long periods on site
