You will have an opportunity to increase Company’s TAM by developing business strategies with the Global Consulting Firms and large Systems Integrators (GSI's) to build market demand. This business development role is for an experienced Business Partner/Alliances Manager and leader who believes that deep learning, data science, and artificial intelligence is a new computing revolution and has the potential to transform the Energy industry.
What You’ll Be Doing
Engage with GSI’s to develop an understanding of their goals, strategies, and market needs to help define and deliver high-value solutions based on Company technology that they can bring to market
Become the trusted advisor and drive executive alignment
Work with Company’s Energy Industry Leaders to understand the market opportunity, Company’s strategy and value proposition, define initiatives and outcomes, while orchestrating resources to achieve those outcomes
Develop an enablement strategy for each of the GSI’s that provides that partner with the tools and development support to bring differentiated services to market based on Company’s software and hardware stack
Lead a virtual team of technical, business, and marketing resources across Company and our business partners to drive mutual success
Work with GSI’s on use-cases, Centers of Excellence, and customer references
Communicate and execute success stories working with campaign, corporate, & partner marketing teams
Attend Energy industry events to represent Company, recruit and engage the GSI ecosystem
What We Need To See
9+ years of sales or business development experience with global consulting firms and/or large systems integrators
Deep knowledge and extensive experience in the Energy industry preferably in digital transformation and/or automation
Deep understanding of Energy workflows and processes that can be enhanced using accelerated computing and artificial intelligence
Machine learning, data analytics, and AI experience preferred
Passion for ecosystem development
Strong partner management experience and skills
Excellent written, verbal and presentation interpersonal skills are an essential requirement. You work across all major internal functional areas (engineering, sales, marketing, executives), as well as external partners, customers, and content developers
Innovative and creative flair, yet able to follow operational process discipline
Preferable location is Houston, Texas
