This position is responsible for assisting the General Counsel with respect to all facets of general corporate law, including: (i) contract matters, (ii) civil litigation, including general liability and worker’s compensation, (iii) labor and employment matters, (iv) real estate matters, (v) intellectual property considerations, and (vi) corporate law formalities. The position will also entail an administrative component with respect to routine budgeting, scheduling, billing and correspondence.
Thorough knowledge of all facets of law arising in corporate setting
Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to prioritize heavy workload, maintain confidentiality, and interact with all levels of management across the organization

Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Word, Power Point and Excel)
Bachelor’s Degree or Paralegal certification is required.
5-7 years’ experience as well rounded commercial law generalist.
Prior In-House corporate experience as a commercial law Paralegal is required.
Food Safety, Product Labelling and FDA/USDA experience a plus.
