The outlet team is responsible for driving sales, inventory, and profit objectives for the WE Outlet Stores. Growing the outlet business is key to Brand success; as we continue to grow our Main Retail and DTC businesses, it is becoming exceedingly more important that we have a place to profitably liquidate inventory.
The Outlet Planner is a newly added role and is an exciting opportunity for anyone that wants a lot of exposure to inventory management, has a natural curiosity about the business, works well in a less structured environment, has an entrepreneurial spirit, likes to drive results and wants the reward of taking these brands to the next level. This will be a highly collaborative role with growth potential.
Monitor assortment breadth and depth to maximize sales and profitability
Generate store specific analysis to inform decisions and drive the business
Work with the Outlet merchant/allocator to expand the "from the main brand" product mix and ensure proper in-stock levels
Determine quantity to purchase for new and continuing SKU's
Manage the OTB and potential daily sales forecasts
Forecast review and revise inventory purchases to maintain optimum inventory flow
Work with merchants and distribution to set unit inventory levels by department by store
Evaluate, develop and own reporting
Develop process around end of life cycle goods
Foster, develop and maintain close partnerships with cross functional partners including the visual team, store and district managers, and the merchants
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

3-5 years of experience in planning and/or allocation, store experience a plus
Strong analytical thinking skills

Proficient in Excel
College degree preferred
