The Outing Sales Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all golf outing and banquet events for the golf course. This position requires an energetic and outgoing sales and operations professional who can professionally and successfully interact with businesses, associations and professionals.
Manage the fulfillment of all aspects of golf outings from planning to securing details to day of execution to ensure proper execution in all departments
Communicate contract details with Management and Staff through Banquet Event Orders and other methods to ensure the timely transfer of accurate and complete information for flawless execution
Use appropriate software and other tools to manage and deliver cart signs, bag tags, scorecards, and other outing collateral in timely fashion
Collect payment from all events
Manage events through transition to food and beverage.
Responsible for all aspect of service execution and must work with other departments to meet event expectations
Manage feedback and referrals through survey solicitation
Provide superior customer service to all accounts in order to maximize yearly revenue growth
Provide timely and accurate responses to inquiries about outings and events at the property
Perform other duties assigned by supervisor or manager
2-3 years of direct sales experience
Must have basic computer skills – Word, Excel, etc.
Knowledge about the game of golf is preferred
Knowledge about Food & Beverage operations is preferred
Must be highly motivated, goal-driven and a self-starter
Must have friendly personality and enjoy working with the public
Must have good interpersonal and communication skills
Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
College degree (marketing, communications) preferred
