We're seeking an Operations Clerk at our headquarters in Olathe, Kansas.
It’s all about quality when you’re an Operations Clerk. In this role you will be responsible for managing data records and equipment/parts that meet departmental requirements.
Other essential functions include:
Receive, inventory and add new equipment/parts into department database
Maintain and assure accuracy of records according to assigned department
Prepare purchase requisitions, package or unpackage parts/equipment as needed
Issue and receive spare parts
Restock spare parts
Shop for better pricing for replacement parts
Cycle count spare parts inventory
Maintain an effective work area
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualified candidates will possess a high school diploma or GED. Other required qualifications include:
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including email correspondence
Must possess the ability to lift up to 55 lbs. to effectively perform the essential functions of this job description
Must be able to stand, sit, walk and/or twist for extended periods of time
Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast paced environment
Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel as well as previous experience with database systems; for example, Microsoft Access or a CMMS
Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and remain flexible to meet department demand
Candidates with previous inventory experience are preferred.
