North America Supply Chain Finance Analyst – Memphis Undergraduate Internship

As an undergraduate Finance Analyst Intern, you will support the North American Supply Chain team in Memphis that has responsibility for the preparation and distribution of timely and insightful financial analysis to determine progress against strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts. This role will encompass interpretation and review of financial results, including variance analysis, and providing guidance back to our operational partners.
While spending the summer in an Undergraduate Internship with Nike Finance your responsibilities may include:
Analyzing distribution center performance and developing initiatives to improve execution.
Developing and monitoring metrics related to P&L and operational performance.
Building an annual budget that incorporates strategic business plan objectives and reflects appropriate assumptions.
Participation in the monthly forecasting process.
Provide leadership on small to medium sized projects related to continuous improvements, enhancements, and modifications to the DC network.
Lead internal initiatives related to sharing best practices and common operating procedures across facilities.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date in Winter 2020 or Spring 2021, preferably with an emphasis in finance or accounting
Intermediate level proficiency using Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Strong knowledge of budgeting, investment analysis, economic profit concepts and strategic planning concepts
Strong knowledge of financial modeling, scenario planning, and reporting
Experience leading projects required
Excellent communication skills and experience with influencing
Successfully navigated ambiguity, especially while working with a team
Experience leading people
Cognos TM1 experience
