L’Oréal Professional Division is the worldwide leader in professional beauty. We have ambitious targets for 2017 and want to be the most attractive partner within the hotel spa segment. To accomplish this we are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager for our professional skincare brands, Decléor and Carita.
When Decléor was founded in 1974, Beauty therapist and Brand Ambassador Solange Dessimoulie had a genuine philosophy: “to feel good in your body and soul, to feel good in your own skin.” A philosophy as important today as it was the day Decleor was founded. Also our other spa brand Carita seeks to reveal each woman’s beauty by providing her tailor-made treatments and ultra-efficient cosmetic products. Both brands revolutionized the treatment and beauty industry and we are looking for the Marketing Manager that can accelerate the brands on this journey in the Nordics.
As the Marketing Manager for Decléor and Carita, you will define and guide the brand strategy consistent with the international brand positioning and the European priorities. You will contribute to the brands continuous growth and the consumer relationships by driving the brand portfolio development.
As the Marketing Manager your key job accountabilities include:
• Defining the Nordic strategic directions and the 3-year marketing plan, as well as guiding portfolio priorities (new launches, pillar products’ renewal and animation of core catalogue)
• Taking part in the international brand marketing development
• Collecting and analyzing consumer and market insights
• Sharing findings with the International Marketing Strategy (DMI) to ensure the consistency of new developments with the countries’ needs
• Work with and challenging the DMI on projects and the marketing mix (IMC/360/Digital/Retail) to ensure that the international marketing plan responds to the local market and consumer needs
• Animate and assist commercial managers and sales teams with creating the right angle to build integrated, engaging consumer brand experiences
• Developing the Nordic marketing team and the marketing expertise within the countries, in particular by sharing European best practices
• Defining clear messages to present to top management and accompany the local marketing teams in the preparation of meetings
• Building, developing and managing your team
We are looking for an ambitious Marketing expert with solid experience within the FMCG industry in a Scandinavian market. The ideal candidate has passion for beauty and especially Spa and Treatments and will:
• Hold a relevant master degree within marketing, business or communication
• Have the ability to manage several projects and tasks at the same time
• Have strong excel knowledge and is comfortable with budget management
• Have responsibility for creating and management the budget
• Have experience in managing a team
• Thrive within a fast paced and dynamic working environment
• Preferably have a strong passion for makeup and beauty
• Have an analytical mindset and is eager to look for consumer insights
• Deliver excellence with agility and rigor
• Be fluent in English and one of the Scandinavian languages.
You are expected to travel approximately 30 days a year in the Nordics and to Paris to meet the team as well as participate in brand and sales meetings.
