JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Harold and Inge Marcus Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at The Company is delighted to announce the search for a multi-year fixed-term non-tenure-track faculty position of three years. Outstanding candidates may also be considered for the position of Director of the Service Enterprise Engineering program. The department is especially interested in advancing the management and operation of service enterprises (e.g. labor intense service industries such as healthcare, transportation, security operations, shared economy, hospitality and entertainment, supply chain engineering, etc.). Candidates are expected to have a strong methodological background in Industrial Engineering/Operations Research and to adopt innovative educational practices as they develop and teach graduate and undergraduate courses and advise and mentor graduate and undergraduate students. The search will be at the Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor level based on the successful candidates’ qualifications. The first industrial engineering department founded in the world, our department is consistently highly ranked for both its graduate and undergraduate programs.
