Loads, unloads and moves materials to introduce raw materials to the production line.
§ Reads product specification requirements or follows oral instructions to weigh materials or raw products.
§ Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets by hand and introduce raw materials to the line.
§ Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials used on daily production sheet.
§ Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together.
§ May operate industrial fork truck to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
§ Assists Process Operator to maintain and update SQCDP Boards.
§ Strictly adheres to all company and plant policies concerning safety, performing proper lockout, Tag-Out procedures, using proper lifting techniques, wearing, effectively, all personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, proper walking/stepping and all other safety procedures related to your duties.
§ Adheres to all company and plant policies related to GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices).
§ Adheres to all company and plant policies, work rules and procedures.
§ Regular and predictable attendance is essential for meeting performance expectations of the position.
§ Other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.

Job Qualification Requirements

§ One month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
§ Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English.
§ Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
§ Ability to perform these operations using units of money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
§ Ability to comprehend and communicate in Basic English and interact with all levels of the organization.
§ Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing setting.
§ High School Diploma or equivalent general education diploma (GED) plus one to six months experience.
§ Previous experience operating an industrial fork truck in a manufacturing environment.
§ Ability to enter data into a computer and use SAP processing software.
