Manage local media investments and achieve key performance deliverables for local television.
Project accurate audience estimates in assigned geographies.
Negotiate efficient and effective local activations, delivering competitive value and targeted content to ensure the lowest rate within guidelines.
Maintain pulse on the media marketplace including pricing, competitive activity and inventory assessment.
Understand marketplace uniqueness: geography, coverage, ethnicity and meaningful competitor information.
Inform necessary constituencies of marketplace opportunities to drive impact and value for our clients.
Track confirmation of Client budgets and billing reconciliation.
Generate pre-in-and post-buy reports to ensure Nielsen and/or comScore. audience projections are monitored and audit deliverables are achieved.
Stewardship of buys:
◦ Maintain confirmation of purchase, schedules, budgets and reconciliation of station billing.
◦ Verify accuracy of weeks, spots and budgets.
Negotiate ROI, audience deficiency, bonus and goodwill weight as needed.
Manage and meet all due dates.
Participate in Moxie training provided to you.
Develop excellent working relationships with sales management and representatives to ensure favorable consideration for all Moxie clients.
Assist in training and mentoring Associates and Trainees as needed.
Bachelor’s Degree or 2-4 years relevant business experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, interpersonal, and follow-up skills.
Expertise in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.
Experience in MediaOcean is preferred.
