Responsible for managing a mutual fund business line within USBFS. Functions include portfolio accounting, Technology, Tax, Legal, financial reporting, partner allocation and partnership tax reporting.
Work with the business development manager to sustain profitability and growth of unit.
Develop and implement procedures for performing accounting and administration services.
Develop and maintain compliance programs.
Maintain high level relationships with clients and implement and maintain the accounting and financial systems to service those clients.
Work with Chief Compliance Officer for USBFS to assess and monitor risks associated with providing services.
Ensure financial forecasts are met for the unit.
Actively ensures compliance with the Company Code of Ethics and all Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, policies and procedures. Actively participates in any required corporate and business line training in these areas. Follows account opening procedures and understands and follows internal suspicious activity referral requirements and processes, as required for this position. Actively works with customers to understand each customer's normal account activity, as appropriate for this position.
Actively develops departmental improvements (procedural, technology) and implements them.
Involved in RFPs, new business presentations.
10+ years of banking experience
5+ years of management experience
BA/MBA in finance, accounting, or other related field
Well-developed leadership abilities and strategic management skills
Knowledge of unit(s) and relation to industry
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
Well-developed analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
Considerable tact, diplomacy and people skills.
