Overview and Responsibilities
A new role within Music Commissioning providing content management and creative support to the Senior Music Commissioning Editor.
Main Responsibilities
• Provide operational support to Senior Music Commissioning Editor to ensure smooth roll-out of content to MTV Live HD & MTV Networks UK.
• As agreed with Senior Music Commissioning Editor, oversee the execution and delivery of Remedy Produced UK Hosted Programming and Official Charts strands -continually challenging their team of Producers to deliver the best talent and most engaging formats to ensure the Music slate is competitive, original, engaging and maximises its ratings potential.
• Ensure Remedy continue to deliver the highest quality of programming in the most efficient and cost-effective way (within budget), is OFCOM compliant and delivered as per music channel strategy.
• Originate ideas in how to maximise content cross-channel & cross platform, liaising with the Digital Media, Press & Marketing teams on 360 projects.
• Ensure (along with Senior Music Commissioning Editor and the Programming team) that sufficient quality & quantity of ideas generated for new elements of programming across the music channels.
• Ensure continuity of editorial voice, tone & brand values across the channels in programming, network themes & stunts.
• Main liaison with content providers and Content Management Teams for delivery of Remedy / UK commissioned content to deadline & day-part restriction.
• Main liaison with Content providers and UK Viewing teams, to ensure all delivered commissioned content is Ofcom compliant.
• Be across major competitor’s music content, new talent & new initiatives and identify/highlight new programming opportunities.
• Reports to the Senior Music Commissioning Editor.
• A proven track record of producing long-form music / entertainment shows.
• Great editorial judgement and enthusiasm for music programmes and content.
• Extensive & diverse knowledge of the music market, music culture, music trends.
• Understanding of what music content 16-34 audience wants & needs.
• An up to date knowledge of Ofcom regulations.
• Production & project management. Experience of seeing production through from commissioning to delivery.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure & think on your feet.
• Strong strategic understanding & passion for the MTV channels & brand.
• Used to having production budget responsibility.

Basic Qualifications
As a member of the Account Services Department, the Manager will work closely with the iCIMS customers to ensure all their needs and expectations are met.
• The Manager should have a strong knowledge of ASP systems and the ability to quickly learn and master the iRecruiter system to effectively communicate to customers the best and most efficient methods of utilizing iCIMS products.
• The Manager should possess outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple accounts.
• The Manager is expected to be able to identify a customer's needs and when new opportunities exist to add additional products and services.
• Participation in sales presentations through conference calls and seminars, on-site customer meetings, and client surveys.
• Work with the iCIMS Marketing team to develop client references, case studies, and testimonials.
• Proactively contact assigned clients and work towards 100% renewal rate.
• Work escalated customer issues.
• Some travel required.
Additional Qualifications
• Bachelor degree with strong academic track record.
• Experience with all Microsoft Windows operating systems
• Hands-on user for Microsoft Internet Explorer and related web-based technologies.
• Must have strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision or formal structure.
• Previous experience with client relations and experience in HR systems and/or software project management are significant plus.
