The Residential mortgage team guides both new and existing clients in purchasing and maintaining the home of their dreams. We build strong relationships with our clients based on responsible lending and borrowing practices. Over 1,200 Brokers are backed by our team of Underwriters, Mortgage Processors, Loan Closers, and Loan Officers. The Residential mortgage team works with risk partners to offer the best borrowing solutions for our clients and for our Company.
Responsible for the overall process of converting a correspondent lender application into an approved and active customer. Works with a Regional account manager and management to acquire and/or process approvable correspondent applications. Success is dependent on outstanding service to external and internal customers and is measured by how quickly and how consistently a customer begins delivering loans to our Company. Works with a Regional account manager and management to acquire approvable correspondent applications, introduce newly approved customers to staff, and implement sales and marketing strategies. Ensures overall process is completed and opportunities for increasing loan volume from the correspondent customer are pursued.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Must be well organized and consistently deliver outstanding service to internal and external customers.
Three years mortgage-lending experience preferred, a strong related academic background or business experience could qualify.
A college degree is highly preferred.
