To do that, you’ll help lead a highly motivated team laser-focused on analyzing, designing, developing and delivering solutions built to stop adversaries and strengthen our operations. You’ll use your leadership skills to give guidance, best practice advice and support across all our business and technology groups. You’ll take the lead on incident response, risk reviews and vulnerability assessments, identifying threats, all of which ladder up to driving and selecting cost-effective solutions. You’ll deploy best practices, new policies, and emerging trends to strengthen our strategic roadmap. You’ll keep management, executive directors, managing directors and stakeholders in the loop, as well as managing people and budgets. The Mobile Platform Security Lead will align in the End Point Technology team within Cyber Security. This role will establish a Mobile security framework for use within JPMC through the creation and maintenance of secure controls.
This role will partner heavily with the global engineering teams and support the end to end secure deployment of Mobile devices as well as the supporting technologies
Define firm-wide security controls for primarily IOS mobile device platform with Android knowledge a plus
Create an execution strategy that focuses on embedding security controls into existing practices to enhance effectiveness. Success will be measured by both the ability to identify risk and demonstrate a reduction of risk across the Mobile environment
Manage applicable standards and procedures translating security requirements into easily understood controls
Lead cross line of business working groups to review and approve proposed Mobile controls and support presentations to various leadership groups
This role will ensure that the supporting security framework is clearly defined in policies, standards and procedures that support global information security architecture objectives
This role will also participate in efforts to test the effectiveness of defined controls and ensure that critical processes in the firm are evaluated from a security perspective. You will liaise with stakeholders across the firm to drive strategic execution of defined controls
You will ensure that intended objectives are able to be adopted by impacted stakeholders, and changes are clearly and comprehensively communicated.
The role requires a strong self-starter who can understand program objectives, create or modify controls using a logical and standardized approach, and independently and proactively engage internal partners to align on an agreed upon solution
This role will also ensure that associated security risks concerns are embedded in supporting processes
The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of technology capabilities including network, infrastructure, operating systems, and software development
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Requires 5+ years experience in establishing and managing Mobile platform security for IOS and/or Android operating systems
◦ Expert understanding of security concerns with Mobile operating systems, applications and associated integration points
◦ Working understanding of Apple and Android Mobile Infrastructure
◦ Mobile Device Management (Airwatch, Mobile Iron)
◦ Working understanding Mobile Application Management
◦ Working understanding of Mobile OS controls configuration
◦ Working understanding of Profiles, Side Loading, App Distribution
Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, ADK, NDK a plus
◦ Knowledge of various hardware platforms a plus( Apple, Samsung, Motorola, LG)
Working knowledge industry best practice hardening/security guidance (NIST, DISA, CIS, etc.)
CISSP a plus
