The Mental Health Professional (MHP) at the Psychiatric Research Institute provides direct clinical services, including but not limited to, diagnostic assessment, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, collateral intervention, and crisis intervention to patients [Clinical services are provided in the office]. S/He must meet a clinical productivity/service access expectation as set by the supervisor and the department and completes clinical and administrative processes and documentation in compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

Provides direct clinical services:
These include but are not limited to diagnostic assessment, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, collateral intervention, and crisis intervention. This includes mandated reporting in compliance with legal and professional standards and guidelines. Provides Psychological Testing, if licensure allows, that is consistent with permission of their Professional State Licensure.
Completes clinical and administrative processes and documentation:
In compliance with Medicaid, insurance, Joint Commission, program, and departmental policies and procedures. This may include participation in administrative tasks such as medical record reviews, treatment outcomes projects, and program development projects in addition to direct-service-related documentation. Works with administrative support and utilization management staff as needed to facilitate scheduling, prior and continuing review authorization of services, and transfer/referral of clients to other programs as needed.
May perform other duties as assigned.
Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field
Current and valid Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) from Arkansas Professional Board
Ability to pass CPI Certification if required
Ability to pass Child Abuse and Neglect Registry check, State Police background check, and drug test
Ability to pass TB screening
The ideal candidate will hold a Master's Degree in Social Work and Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) from Arkansas Professional Board.
