As a Customer Service Representative, you will work directly with plan participants to help them understand and resolve issues with their health spending accounts or other employee benefits programs. With your knack for superior customer service and our established guidelines, you will help you turn distressed participants into happy customers.
What you’ll be doing
Become an expert in the delivery of tax-advantaged spending and saving accounts and programs by successfully completing the WageWorks training program.
Serve as the first point-of-contact for customers with questions or issues relating to health spending accounts or other employee benefits programs.
Log and record information about customer interactions in a timely manner in WageWorks company systems.
Receive and relay customer feedback about the system and programs to the appropriate departments, divisions or, as directed, to support efforts for continual process improvement.
What you will need to be successful
High School diploma or equivalent; College work is preferred but not required
At least 1 year of professional experience in a high-volume customer service role
Ability to effectively problem solve, rather than escalating every issue
Strong communication and interpersonal skills allowing you to work effectively with participants who may be frustrated
Quick typing ensuring that you are able to accurately document customer conversations in the designated systems in real time
Knowledge of federal spending account (FSA) benefits, health saving accounts, commuter benefits and COBRA is preferred
Bi-lingual skills are desirable, but not a requirement
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contact management software applications
