Chase relies on digital marketing as a key strategic channel in driving acquisition, branding, and cross-sell opportunities to millions of customers and potential customers; across a suite of financial services products. This strategist role will manage all aspects of the Owned Media channel from ad placement on Company website, to managing the decision engine and the business rules that drives these channels.
This role leverages multiple marketing technologies one being primarily PEGA Marketing Cloud. This role will yield the development, ownership and optimization of decision strategies that drive various digital channels for Chase. In addition, this role will translate and own business requirements and offer information into strategies that drive the use and optimization of the marketing decision engine. This role plays a vital point in the digital marketing eco-system within Chase.
The Digital Decision Strategist role will be responsible for various activities, including the following:
Primary liaison between Performance Marketing – Owned Media team, channel governance and the line of business that leverage Company website and chase mobile app as marketing channels.
Work directly with key stakeholders from each line of business to obtain requirements for campaign/strategy requests and provide support for digital strategies on Company website and the chase mobile app.
Manage the design and build of the rules that drive Decisioning for all strategies, for customer, business or product interactions on Company website
Hands-on ownership, development and execution of strategies within PEGA Marketing that achieve desired business results.
Ensure each strategy is built with adherence and to standard process. Create test cases and leverage unit testing for integration of new or modified business logic.
Analyze campaign performance, ensuring strategies /campaigns are effectively maintained to guarantee optimal behavior.
Work with cross-functional groups to support key projects as an ad decision resource.
Adhere and promote existing controls as well as optimize for an evolving digital landscape.
4 year college degree, preferably in Information Systems, Business, Marketing or related-field.
5+ years’ experience in digital operations role leveraging technology to build, deploy and analyze digital campaigns and strategy design.
Experience with related PEGA technologies is preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of general online business, advertising, and marketing principles.
Development experience with Decision Management platforms & Business Intelligence applications (i.e. PEGA Marketing), including Decision Strategy Manager Applications.
Experience with adaptive modeling and testing.
Basic understanding of Java, SQL, XML, and real time decisioning.
Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and Project Delivery Process.
Understanding of the principles behind Object-Oriented programming languages.
Knowledge of Agile operating principals – experience operating in a sprint cycle
Advanced skills with PC-based tools including MS project, MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
Good written, verbal communications and time management skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build collaborative relationships.
Experienced in marketing analytics and reporting.
