Yahoo Sport and Yahoo Daily Fantasy are two fast growing core products. As a senior member of the International Marketing team, your goal will be to drive growth in key metrics: reach, user engagement, brand and revenue, by re-imagining and transforming how we market Sport and our Fantasy games in our core markets around the world.

You get sport & gaming. You have significant experience in a betting or gaming brand and experience in translating a love and deep knowledge of sport into effective marketing strategy and campaigns.
You get growth. You are a consumer-focused, data-driven, growth-driving, and creative marketer who has led strategies, plans and campaigns, across analytics/insights, acquisition/referrals, activation/onboarding, and adoption/retention.
You get mobile/digital. You have a strong understanding of the mobile/digital ecosystem – from apps to advertising and analytics. You have successfully applied the latest mobile/digital tools to grow user reach, retention, reputation and revenue.
You get it done. You have demonstrated success working with analytics, product, design, engineering, marketing, and partnership/distribution teams to execute effective consumer marketing strategies.
Role/Responsibilities
• Create the Yahoo Sport vision, strategy, roadmap, requirements, release schedule, and campaigns to drive user and usage growth.
• Determine appropriate testing plans and create the methodology to iterate fast and release new campaigns/programs for testing and, if successful, rollout to all users globally.
• Build strong relationships across local commercial, editorial and product teams. Work closely with US analytics, design, product, engineering, and marketing teams to guide them in defining new products/experiences for testing.
• Execute with cross-functional teams by leading meetings, gaining consensus for appropriate reach, retention, brand, and revenue tradeoffs.
• Focus the marketing plans (and product roadmap) on achieving the metrics that matter, making ruthless decisions about what to do (and what not to do).
• Generate and go deep on consumer insights and competitive intelligence to help guide and drive product innovation, strategy, iteration – become a trusted advisor.
• Inform and update executives and stakeholders on marketing campaigns and product performance, plans, and progress towards metrics.
• Jumpstart new growth opportunities (e.g. new trends, marketing partnerships, distribution partners).
Requirements/Qualifications
• Minimum of 4 years marketing digital products in consumer-focused companies
• Significant experience, proficiency in, and passion for Sport and Gaming/ Betting
• Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and consensus without clear authority
• Track record of proactively delivering digital performance campaigns
• Blend of consumer insights, competitive intelligence, and technical knowledge
• Demonstrated use of analytics, metrics, and benchmarking to drive decisions
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational, creative, and communications skills
• Team player in driving growth results combined with a positive attitude
• Strong work ethic and strong core values (honesty, integrity, creativity)
