Management Trainee (Sales Technology)

The purpose of the Sales Technology Lead is to educate and transition Company’s new and existing customers to the company’s e-commerce platforms in assigned market. This will be achieved by establishing customer relationships and developing customer technology capabilities by influencing and demonstrating the benefits of online ordering and estimating to customers.
Duties and responsibilities
Help drive customer utilization and adoption of Company’s e-commerce software platforms
Provide on-site customer and employee training to enhance capabilities
Support local sales staff/ride-a-longs each week as needed
Become the resident expert on our suite of technology offerings
Drive change that enables the customer to develop and grow their business more efficiently
Develop the e-commerce capabilities of internal sales employees and branch staff using an e-commerce certification program
Setup reoccurring order templates for customers to use on an ongoing basis
Employ consultative selling and establish a trusted advisor relationship in order to determine the customer’s needs, create engagement, alignment, desire, and acceptance of technology platforms
Highly developed interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
Ability to speak publicly with confidence and poise
Strong sense of ambition, self-motivation and self-discipline
Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
Naturally outgoing and articulate individual who thrives in social settings
Ability to use technology and common software and web applications, including MS Office and Salesforce. Must have a high comfort level with technology
Regular travel throughout the local market place
