University Relations Recruiting Manager
At EA, the talent coming straight from university campus is the talent that drives our business…and our University Relations team is creating best-in-class programs to engage, hire, and welcome the best college graduates from around the world. As a leader of the global university relations team, you will be a constant champion of intern and new grad talent, responsible for partnering with client groups as well as UR colleagues to assure that EA is an employer-of-choice from on-campus introduction to offer and all the way to onboarding. In this role you will directly manage seven experienced University Relations and Recruiting professionals located in the US and Canada. You will develop strong partnerships with staffing, human resources, line managers, and within the university relations team to create the ideal environment that supports a world class intern and new grad recruiting and campus relations program.
Responsibilities:
• Develop strong partnerships with hiring managers, team leaders, human resources business partners, and staffing leads, raising global awareness of university relations programs and goals.
• Develop and deliver annual new grad and intern/co-op hiring strategies for client business groups that align with overall talent map. We want to constantly innovate; how do we reach the very best talent on campus!?
• Create and maintain efficient processes and regular reporting, while tailoring communication per client needs. We are a data based decision organization!
• Coach and mentor recruiters, sourcers, and campus reps. Help them become the very best they can be.
• Define and communicate hiring and selection processes for aligned business groups. Help our hiring managers be effective at screening and evaluating campus talent.
• Lead the recruiting team on a path to become best in class, this includes objective setting, performance reviews, and appropriate guidance.
• Lead effort to improve EA’s brand on campus to attract the best talent outside of our gaming roles. We are doing cutting edge work in Data, Cloud, Security, Platform, and many other areas and we need students so know this!
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for diversity hiring on campus. Lead our Pathfinder program targeting Freshman and Sophomore students from underrepresented backgrounds.
• Influence scalability and efficiency in business processes and engagement to enhance university relations organizational effectiveness.
• Collect and analyze market trends and competitive intelligence. Explore new and innovative ways of reaching the best talent on campus.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on ways UR can supplement just in time hiring. Champion year-round new grad hiring for appropriate roles.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 6-8 years Recruiting experience with either 4+ years of previous University Relations or 4+ years people management experience preferred
• Strong consulting and customer service skills
• Proven ability to lead, develop, own and drive programs/processes, making independent judgements and decisions with little to no supervision
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• High level of energy, initiative and enthusiasm
• Results-oriented
• Excellent time management, organizational, and people and program management skills
• Demonstrated change management skills, i.e., comfortable with constant change, yet able to set priorities and execute on commitments
• Direct experience working in the high-technology software or entertainment industry is desirable
• Strong analytical skills with process excellence, you must be comfortable collecting data and using it to guide and support your decisions
