Be a crucial driver of favorable outcomes in key areas of the Talent Center of Excellence, such as talent performance, succession/retention, career planning/curation, and organizational design/workforce optimization. Execute our talent strategies through mastery of our data and analytics to help fuel decision making throughout the business that balances both art and science. Collaborate with Bloomingdale’s senior leadership in the identification of talent performance calibration opportunities through data insights. In this role, you will lead the deployment of processes to identify and calibrate the correlation between demonstrated high performance and assessment potential across Bloomingdale’s. Perform other duties as assigned.
Assist in the execution of a comprehensive Bloomindale’s succession planning strategy to provide “ready now” bench for key Executive roles.
Collaborate effectively with Macy’s Talent Center of Excellence (COE) to ensure inclusion and alignment of strategies, systems, and technology where necessary to achieve our talent objectives.
Be a subject matter expert in the capabilities of Macy’s tools and systems for talent management and talent performance to recommend opportunities for alignment within Bloomingdale’s.
Collaborate for impact with HRBPs as essential partners in executing talent strategies across the enterprise. Ensure Diversity objectives are incorporated as an important part of all succession planning activities.

Leverage analytics to identify and calibrate the correlation / relationship between observed, demonstrated, high performance and validated assessment potential.
Master all systems and data available to support the execution of talent performance and talent management processes to drive optimal performance and achieve business results.
Play a crucial role in the facilitation of talent calibration meetings with HRBPs and Bloomingdale’s Leadership Team (BLT) by providing analytics to support developmental discussions.

Evaluate current Performance Management processes and effectiveness for all Executive and Staff roles. Partner collaboratively with Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) and functional stakeholders to identify and recommend changes required to support key business functions, expectations, and outcomes.
Create and manage engagement survey process and reporting; identify opportunities for improvement.
Leverage analytics to identify gaps in our performance management process.
Operate with a high level of curiosity, passion, and self-motivation for driving the business through talent management and performance
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to read, write and interpret instructional documents, reports, and procedure manuals.
Able to communicate effectively at the senior leadership level.
Ability to communicate in-person, by email, and by video are required.
Must have above average mathematical skills, including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (or related/similar tools) are crucial.
Able to identify patterns from a large pool of data.
Strong critical thinker that can draw conclusions and make recommendations using insights gathered from a variety of data sources.
This position requires the ability to type, grasp, and talk regularly in-person, by phone, and by video.
Involves close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Strong leadership profile, business acumen and client support orientation.
A proven influencer with experience in organizational design and effectiveness.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Able to use and navigate complex reporting systems, technological devices, and tools.

Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities and learn new procedures.
Typically Monday through Friday, starting no later than 9:00am with the ability to work a flexible schedule depending on department and company needs.
