To unlock the opportunity that sits within our 'Out of Home' division, we are re-focusing our resources to maximise our execution scale and reinforce our proposition to become our wholesalers “indispensable partner of choice”. Given the fragmented outlet landscape in GB, wholesalers will be our predominant route-to-market in Out of Home. To unlock the growth opportunity, our core challenge is to maximize the effectiveness of driving Company's portfolio through closing distribution and availability gaps, and can deliver speed of NPD in the market. This will predominately be done through add to order partnership which will enable the Company Field Sales force to be as effective as possible through their ability to take an order on the close of every call, in every outlet, not just gain a commitment to buy. The role will also look at how we can review future order taking capabilities in both the covered but uncovered outlets.
To strengthen our order taking capabilities to win in Independent Outlets – step changing the scale and impact we can have on distribution within all outlets through 'Add to Order' and future order taking capabilities. This is a very large change project and needs resource support to develop, transition and embed in current business models with key accountabilities as stated:
Partner the RTM lead to develop a full plan on what and how this plan will work
To define and manage a clear governance process to agree how the role will work alongside key stakeholders in commercial, customer, sales support and customer hub
Sharing of best practice and making best practice, normal practice
Partner with P&E to define and further enhance reporting to show both current progress but also action oriented insight
To partner with IT and C&T team to continuously improve the processes and systems we have in place
Accompany and aid facilitation alongside the commercial NKAMs within a customer where support is required between Company and the defined wholesale partners
To understand and agree the use of the customer hub within the collaboration plan
To brief where required key internal stakeholders on current status and future plans
To Map a delivered RTM for each outlet though collaboration with the OOH senior field sales team
To track progress on planned wholesaler engagement and solve customer issues with the process
To fully automate Bestway and look at another 2 strategic EDI opportunities
To understand how ERP can support the process for smaller wholesalers alongside IT and create solutions as required
To embed Add to Order in HEW and Leisure
To build capabilities within RED and sales pitch
To create and build a trial for click and collect model
Ability to work on own initiative and drive program
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to coach managers and sales reps as required
Proficient in change management aligned with a growth mind-set and courageous thinking
Ability to influence upwards to gain buy-in on development
Commercial awareness to be able to work with wholesale partners and understand commercial viability of model and plans
Good planning skills to define and manage ongoing project plan
Key stakeholder engagement
Good communication skills and use of mediums to manage coms out both internally and externally
Ability to create a cross functional working group around one goal
