The Manager, Real Estate & Workplace Experience is a member of the global RE and Workplace Experience management team leading all aspects of RE and workplace experience management for Company Americas operations. Reporting to the Director, Global Real Estate & Workplace Experience, this role is based in our Boston, MA office. This role has primary responsibility for the management for our Workplace Experience teams and will support the real estate strategy for the Americas, including offices in Boston, Santa Barbara and Seattle. The Manager, Real Estate and Workplace Experience will effectively balance multiple projects in tandem while being intensely focused on key priorities.

What You’ll Do
Strategy, Planning & Analysis: The Manager, RE and Workplace experience will identify options for both long term and interim office and lab space. Conduct and report on a needs-based analysis and space planning based on facilities prospecting and a complete understanding of Company business needs.
Facilities Operations and Workplace Experience: Drive high performance of the Workplace Experience team through effective performance management/feedback & coaching. Lead the budget development and management and ensure safety, security, ergonomics, shipping/receiving, janitorial and hospitality are functioning to enhance the productivity and brand values of Company. Manage relationships and performance of key vendors. Work with Workplace Experience leadership team to build global strategies and solutions.
Workplace Design: Have developed a keen understanding of Company by learning the company, the leadership expectations and the needs of the people. Apply this learning with subject matter expertise, influence and/or lead the workplace design to improve employee engagement, collaboration and a quality reflection of the Company brand including space and furniture design/standardization.
Leadership and Communication: Lead by example and be the change agent champion. Build and foster internal and external relationships that best demonstrate Company behaviors; respect; collaboration; transparency and ownership. Having understood the key stakeholders, communicate to inform and ensure the meeting of expectations.
Skills You’ll Need
Human Factors & Environmental Quality: Health, safety and security working environments, best practices, process improvements and measures.
Emergency Preparedness and Business Continuity: Emergency and risk management planning and procedures.
Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability: Management of sustainable and natural environments.
Project Management: Leadership, management and oversight of projects, contracts and construction.
Technology: Facility management technology, security technology and workplace management systems
7+ years’ experience corporate real estate position.
