This position is responsible for managing life claim supervisory and adjuster staff, ensuring all life claims are adjudicated accurately and timely according to established standards, with adherence to contract provisions, company policies and legal requirements.
High School diploma or equivalent required. College and/or degree preferred.
3-5 years of Life or A&H insurance experience required.
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills; customer service oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Must be able to review complex customer inquiries and make recommendations to resolve issues accurately and timely.
Able to adapt and adjust workload of life adjusters based on department needs.
Strong computer knowledge including Excel, Word, Mainframe and Oracle applications.
Ability to comprehend and interpret company life policy forms.
Successful completion of LOMA courses or actively pursuing designation.
