Are you obsessable about TV? We are looking for a service-oriented, passionate Manager, Office Services to join our team who will play a pivotal, hands-on role. You will support the overall services of the office resulting in a world class guest and employee experience. Under the direction of the VP Facilities, the Manager, Office Services will be responsible for hands on managing and administering office services through a small team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Facilitate office arrangements and internal office moves
• Manage processes and procedures of conference rooms and mailroom
• Effectively communicate with guests, employees and management at all levels
• Coordinate the maintenance of all aspects of the building appearance from paint, carpets, repairs, furniture, wall fixtures, lighting to overall cleanliness
• Oversee cleaning and inventory of all kitchens and seating areas
• Establish organizational systems for supplies and storage rooms
• Develop and systematize inventory tracking of office supplies, furniture, office keys, building access credentials, etc.
• Negotiate vendor contracts and maintenance of existing contracts
• Assist with managing logistics, vendors and timeline coordination of upcoming office move
• Setup New Hire offices/cubicles and provide building, parking, gym and amenities access
• Collaborate in creating and implementing emergency response plans, including evacuation, environmental health and safety, fire drills, defibrillator training and maintenance
• Partner with Human Resources on process improvement and champion efficiencies
• Understand OSHA laws and ensure compliance
• Support maintenance and facilities of the office to include: phones, HVAC, plumbing, painting, furniture, kitchen appliances, lights, pest control, flooring, etc.
• Additional duties and projects as assigned
Required Skills:
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in Office Services, within Entertainment, Media (preferred)
• 5 years’ experience in a supervisor role
• Strong managerial experience and sense of service
• Must be an innovative thinker with the ability to inspire team and set the tone of a creative culture
• Must be passionate about enriching engagement and the overall employee experience
• Excellent organizational skills
• Experience working with outside vendors and budget management
• Motivated, self-starter who takes initiative and exercises good judgment
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion
• Thrive in a creative, fast-paced environment- Must be able to multi-task, prioritize
• Handle challenges with a collaborative approach and remain flexible under pressure
• Previous experience with a company move, a plus
