We have an immediate opening for an experienced Master Scheduling, Production Control, & Strategic Planning Manager at our Landing Gear facility in Fort Worth, Texas. The functional responsibilities include Master and Finite Scheduling, Capacity Planning and Production Control to support the on-time assembly of material while assessing the long-term (24+ months) resource requirement Company website Master Scheduling, Production Control, & Strategic Planning Manager shall be required to implement, maintain, measure and track Central Landing Systems and site Materials Management initiatives to include but not limited to SIOP, PFEP, Master Scheduling, and Inventory reduction Company website Master Scheduling, Production Control, & Strategic Planning Manager shall be responsible for implementing, tracking, measuring and reporting all required site and Central Landing Systems key performance Company website addition the Master Scheduling, Production Control, & Strategic Planning Manager shall conduct root cause analysis and generate mitigation plans for metrics that are not meeting target.
The Master Scheduling, Production Control, & Strategic Planning Manager shall ensure that all Central Landing Systems Materials Management and all site policies and procedures are developed, implemented and adhered Company websiteonal responsibilities include driving change in process and procedures through the use of Continuous Improvement to meet expected corporate inventory objectives. Also it is the expectation that this individualshall coach and develop Material Management resources, including monitoring workflow and efficiency, evaluating performance, performing annual reviews, providing skill development and training.
Development and management of a robust Sales, Inventory, Operations and Planning process
Development and update of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) as well as ensuring the importance of master scheduling is reflected in the organization and communicated with a focus on delivery and inventory control
Development of the Capacity Model as well as the on-going monthly review with Operations with updates made to ensure a valid master schedule is developed in support of customer demand and forecast
Ensuring weekly scheduling meetings are conducted by Production Control with Master Scheduler support, as required with the objective of finalizing and managing the current month build plan in support of the latest financial estimate.
Ensuring the daily production schedule is developed, communicated and implemented in support of meeting on time customer delivery and site financial plan
Ramp up/down analysis, based on capacity availability, is conducted in a timely manner in support of engineering changes and executed with a goal of minimizing obsolete and slow-moving materials
Management of SIOP monthly Demand Review meetings with the objective of synchronizing a firm rolling 24+ month demand profile is in alignment with the MPS
Analyzing BOM rollups of various product lines to support Solid-Liquid-Slushy demand loading analysis
Work cross-functionally to manage the monthly SIOP Supply Review with the objective of long-term supply assurance is in place
Provide monthly inputs to the Executive SIOP plan regarding unresolved misalignment of supply and demand which is actionable coming out of the monthly Supply and Demand SIOP meetings
Provide entail and analysis for the monthly Plan-for-Every-Part (PFEP) inventory strategy which may include but isn’t limited to part specific supplier and customer OTD, part specific NIA (Net Impact Analysis) and part specific OTP (On-Time to Production)
Provides SME support for slow moving and obsolete reserves are estimated and provided to Finance
Systemic supplier related issues impacting the build plan are elevated within the site Procurement function and Supply Chain Commodity Management, as required
Works with Master Data and Analytics to provide item master audits per standard procedure as well as well as overseeing responsibilities associated with the monthly cross-functional Material Master meetings
Track and report key performance indicators and proactively identify appropriate actions to close gaps and to drive continuous improvement
Participate in activities to include 5S, Kaizen, DIVE events, Six Sigma, and other related continuous improvement events.
Demonstrate awareness and understanding of the EHS policy and management system, the importance of conforming to EHS policies and procedures and consequences of failing to comply with EHS policies and procedures.
Continuously drive 5S culture within the Materials Organization
Support achievement of ACE Gold activities, as required
Execute all tasks associated with the site macro plan objectives and site business plan, as required
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 7 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 11 years of relevant experience is required.
5-7 years Material’s Management experience in a manufacturing industry
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Expertise in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)
SAP experience required
Ability to conduct in-depth analysis resulting in development and execution of action plans for improvement
Proven leadership skills that have resulted in improved metrics and overall efficiency
Strong organizational and time management skills
APICs CPIM Certification preferred
