Provides end-to-end supply chain consulting and decision support services by leveraging analytical tools, lean manufacturing processes, and six
sigma approaches; transforming department-centric analyses and planning to total company flow planning and execution; ensuring distribution plans
are aligned and communicated with all stakeholders (for example, Merchandising, Finance, Transportation, Distribution Center Operations, Store
Operations, Replenishment); and ensuring projects meet their intended outcomes within specified time-frames.
Ensures cross-functional collaboration to enable inclusive buying decisions by leveraging supply chain scale to influence and reduce overall cost of
goods; partnering with key stakeholder (for example, Store Operations, Merchandising, Replenishment) to build influence; educating stakeholders on
store, merchandising, and supply chain operational principals to establish an understanding for service needs; and influencing stakeholders to adopt
correct processes and communication channels to enable proper planning across segments.
Drives supply chain flow process improvement efforts by contributing to the design, development, and delivery of new ways of working between
supply chain stakeholders; presenting new ways of working efforts and continuous improvement recommendations to leadership; prioritizing product
flow plan objectives; ensuring flow plans are achievable; championing innovation to simplify current solutions and methodologies; managing the
correction of errors processes and feedback loops; identifying areas of opportunity to improve service levels; supporting the use of end-to-end costing
methodology and lean concepts (for example, activity based costing (ABC), value stream mapping); providing cost recommendations to reduce process waste, and provide opportunities for cost reductions and process efficiencies; and reviewing and analyzing the impact/benefits to internal processes.
Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and
guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and
building commitment for perspectives and rationales.
Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business
needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.
