Name and description of hiring department:
The Field Services BI team resides within Field Services and is responsible for developing, maintaining and using data to drive insights on the customer experience and field productivity. The team consists of business analysts for analyzing data, ETL developers for sourcing and maintaining data and reporting developers for presenting the data in dashboards and scorecards. Our team partners closely with other Business Intelligence teams within the company. We support our field frontline and support teams with impactful insights that help us continue to transform the business.
We are looking for a developer with previous experience in Business Intelligence and ideally good knowledge of the field installation and repair processes. His role will be to develop, implement and evolve the analytics tools of Field Services team. As part of the management team you will have the opportunity to implement the latest practices in dimensional modeling, data visualization and enabling all Field Services team members to have faster and more insightful access to the drivers of their operations.

Job Duties/Accountabilities:
Lead and act in BI project development related to Fields Services, productivity, fleet and customer experience. You will have to work with a team of programmer, direct or indirect reports, and accountable of the delivery of these projects. Your role will be to:
• Lead and deliver BI development for new or existing projects mainly related to service, productivity, fleet and customer experience.
• Explore new sources of information to uncover new business opportunities at all levels of the business (strategic to operational).
• Exercise leading edge skills working with large data volumes to predict customer behavior, text mining, forecasting, segmentation and other data mining techniques.
• Design and introduce new processes and solutions to drive sophisticated BI processes.
• Deliver on key projects and data strategies that directly support key business drivers.
• Implement defined documentation and programming standards for projects and provide a documentation framework including requirements, design, testing and deployment documents.
• Implement an end-to-end cross-channel analytical process to improve customer experience and gain operational efficiency.
• Maintain and expand your knowledge of BI and current technology through training opportunities.
• Lead, manage and coach a team of programmers.
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
• University or College degree in computer sciences or relevant experience in equivalent domain.
• 3-5 years experience in business intelligence related functions (e.g, business analysis, functional analysis, coding).
• You are highly analytical and understand the basic principles of working with large and complex data sets.
• You are able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Strong BI Data Warehouse design and technical knowledge: OLAP, reporting and ETL.
• Strong database SQL programming skills for storing, transforming, importing and exporting data.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server environment; Database, Analysis Services and Integration Services.
• Flexible and ability to adapt to a complex, short timeline and quickly changing work environment.
• Team player with excellent organization and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage workload autonomously and establish the right priorities related with Business needs.
• Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset in Ontario and a requirement in Quebec.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
• Knowledge of MDX programming language.
• Knowledge of SAS environment and programming language.
• Knowledge of Tableau and MicroStrategy platform.
• Knowledge of EDW data warehouse.
• Knowledge of MACAM reporting: Horizon, Missed Commitment, Fleet...
• Company website programming language is an asset.
Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
