Role Summary:
The Manager of Editorial Facilities will oversee the group responsible for providing editorial rooms and equipment rental services at Company StudioPost. They will manage the departmental administrative and engineering staff and oversee the operation of the business.
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain client relationships for both internal NBCU and third party production clientele.
• Manage and maintain optimum utilization of production editorial office rental space.
• Manage editorial engineering teams which provide support, system moves and troubleshooting.
• Manage client billing processes.
• Manage logistics of remote equipment rental systems.
• Support on-lot, off-lot and distant location editorial equipment rental and technical services.
• Collaborate with Production Executives, Producers and StudioPost Operations to proactively provide strategic and technical solutions to improve the client experience.
• Manage telecom and IT additions, moves and changes for rental production editorial office space.
• Work with StudioPost executives to provide capital requirements and requests, technical and operational roadmaps.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in Film and TV production and/ or operations, or related field
• Minimum of 10-years’ experience in Post Production, with understanding of pre-production and broad knowledge and experience of sound and picture post-production processes, workflows and technologies.
• Experience developing existing relationships with Studio Executives, Post Supervisors, Picture Editors, Directors, etc.
• Demonstrable understanding of new and emerging digital production and post-production technologies, new media platforms and evolving film release formats and delivery requirements.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to collaboration and work in a team environment.
• Direct experience or at a minimum a strong understanding of on location dailies systems and how to properly prepare data from on-location to off-line editorial.

• Knowledge of all post production union contracts.
• MS Office, MS Powerpoint, MS Excel, MS Visio, Xytech and other related systems and applications
