Responsibilities
Responsible for the design, management, performance and quality control of project documentation standards, processes and related software & hardware platforms required for development, delivery, storage and access of project documentation. Responsible for training, oversight and compliance monitoring of project documentation standards and related processes and procedures. Responsible for internal project-driven communications management. This includes written content that is published and shared to project staff to ensure accuracy, relevancy and timeliness. This may also include development, deployment and archiving of e-form, workflow solutions.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage the function of project FTP, SharePoint, and other intranet, extranet and shared drive sites and all related digital documentation standards and related procedures. Work closely with project team and project IT Manager to maintain timely delivery of key assets for each production phase (feasibility, blue sky, concept, design, schematic, construction, fabrication, installation and close-out).
• Collaborate with project IT Manager to provide training, oversight and compliance monitoring of project FTP, SharePoint and other intranet, extranet and shared drive sites and all related digital documentation standards and related processes and procedures.
• Support production of all Communication/Documentation needs - including digital and traditional print services for presentations, boards, books, architectural drawings and plans, production, mounting of artwork and other presentation materials, scanning of artwork, drawings, capturing digital reference images, and all related services.
• Oversee CADD Standard Management of all Project CAD documents. Works with project teams and external vendors to maintain proper requirements on a timely and efficient basis.
• Provide data, research and previous art as required for presentation materials. Assigns work to outside vendor as necessary. Ensures artwork is approved prior to overseeing final presentation production and deliverables.
• Works with each external group (Corporate Archives, Corporate Records, Iron Mountain, NBC/Company Film Vault) and related document control groups within Company Parks and Resorts to maintain/exchange/transfer proper document procedures.
• Manages and maintains all project plan room equipment, warranties and supplies; Monitors software and technical systems and equipment to insure that the Team is aware of newly developed products that allow for improved productivity thru utilization of outside references including trade journals and industry shows/seminars and training.
SCOPE: Management of project documentation standards, processes and related software & hardware platforms required for development, delivery, storage and access. Responsibilities to include training, oversight and compliance monitoring of project FTP SharePoint and other intranet, extranet and shared drive. Management of budgets and schedules.
Qualifications/Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Required knowledge of data storage and management systems inclusive of the development and implementation of compliance standards & processes and required security protocols.
• Required knowledge of various digital applications and file formats.
• Required understanding of digital media and applicable formats and be able to communicate the best digital or analogue solution for print materials, digital media, etc.
• Software experience required: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or other layout program, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Sketch up, AutoCAD, Revit and SharePoint 2010 knowledge required.
• Preferred experience in support of a variety of designers, handled a variety of media including actual artwork, digital art, photo materials, 3 dimensional items, etc.
• Previous in-house digital support experience preferred.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred from a four year college or university in Design.
EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years’ experience with document control, reprographics or design group Architectural firm, advertising, design studio or reprographics house experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
