The Manager, Creative Services will provide supervision and daily work direction to employees in the Creative Services department, which includes scheduling projects to meet established deadlines and overseeing employee work assignments and quality control to ensure photographs and videos meet existing department guidelines and brand messaging standards. The Manager, Creative Services is a working manager and is expected to perform his or her work in a positive and professional manner, exhibiting initiative, self-direction and leadership by example.

Directly supervises retouch artists and coordinators.
Oversees vendor and freelance operations via third party sources.
Develops and maintains an effective and involved work force through performance leadership, cross-training, education, communications and policies which support inclusion and team effectiveness.
Monitors master production schedules (JIRA), and other production reporting tools to establish priorities and production plans to meet all goals/deadlines.
Proficient in digital image capture and manipulation of video, product photo, and studio/lifestyle/location photography for print media and internet use including but not limited to: catalogs, web, mobile, flash graphics, emails, and social media initiatives.
Well versed in photography/videography capture and edit, problem solving, designing and implementing workflow procedures and quality control. Provides technical assistance in troubleshooting department functions and equipment and assists in training new associates on equipment functions and procedures.
Manages and implements change to ensure continuous improvement. Maximizes equipment and personnel capabilities, applies new technologies, and/or production capabilities. Researches the applicable industry for effective ways to improve photo, imaging and video techniques.
Maintains effective communications as required with Manger of Creative Operations as well as Marketing and Purchasing personnel regarding: production schedules, photo standards, merchandising tactics, creative concepts, and overall photo and video process improvement/development.
Proficient in photography and video equipment, applications and software
Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
Carries out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Interviewing and appraising performance through reviews; rewarding and disciplining; addressing complaints and resolving problems; initiating procedures that lead to the hiring/discharge of Visual Media associates, including outsourcing for temporary help.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university, 2+ years of production experience and 1+ year of supervisory experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Photographic and Video equipment operation expertise / experience
Be proficient in photo, video, imaging and design specific software, competent in Microsoft applications.
Possess a practical knowledge of photo production process, staff/resource allocation, establishing priorities, outsource coordination and production scheduling.
Proven leadership abilities through high performance and participative management.
Be a self-starter, able to understand and willing to apply FootLocker Inc. policies and procedures.
