Job Posting Title:
This position leads bringing visibility, areas to improve and governance of THS’ Cost-to-Serve elements across categories, markets, channels and customers that reflect our operations and supply chain priorities. This work will enable THS to model both margin leakage and specific costs to serving our customers. These aforementioned costs are those incurred during the manufacturing, selling and distribution of a product to our customers. It includes operations, logistics, packing, shipping, sales costs, etc. resulting in a customer’s net AGM%. The ultimate goal is to influence internal and external behavior through robust insights into the true cost structure of THS.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Supports Center Sales and the Divisions as a business partner by providing analytical insight, an objective viewpoint and strategic recommendations to improve revenue and profit
Build models that considers all activities necessary to complete the production and delivery of a customer’s product as well as revenue collection. Understand how each major operations and supply chain activity impacts the customer or product’s total landed cost.
Determines the total cost of servicing each individual customer at a SKU level, and at the designated level of service.
Provides powerful insight to enable THS to define value and develop long-term strategic plans
Provides useful insights for short-term decision making around customer service levels, pricing, promotional spend, and internal resource/organization structure and allocation.
Enables consistent, more rigorous bid review preparation and recommendations
Refinement of data collection and cost allocation to enhance costing/pricing accuracy
Improve margins over time by delivering cost savings from service reductions and more efficient internal resourcing and/or driving revenue growth resulting from pricing
Understand industry benchmarks to reveal current customer expectations and competitive approaches
Build, coach, and mentor direct reports and participate in the overall development of the finance organization

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Business and financial acumen.
History or proven ability of building financial models
Strong analytical orientation is critical. Ability to analyze and assimilate relevant data into key recommendations.
Strong understanding of business implications and the ability to proactively work to solve problems and deliver results.
Collaboration and Teamwork: must be able to work cross functionally to align goals and prioritize activities; must show leadership in situations where responsibility and accountability may not be clear.
Customer Focus: must be oriented towards meeting the needs of internal & external customers.
Must be able to strategically influence decisions that are best for THS
Communication: must be a superb communicator both verbally and in writing.
Leadership: proven ability to provide direction, guidance, and empowerment to team members. Act as a mentor/coach and provide opportunities for team members to learn and grow personally and professionally.
Bachelor’s Degree Required – Type:Finance, Business
Minimum Experience Preferred (Number of years and type):
5-7 years of relevant CPG experience
Experience in operations and supply chain (Procurement, freight, Network, etc.) cost analysis, is required
Experience with SAP, is desired
Experience in margin leakage elimination and overall margin management activities, is desired
Must be able to travel occasionally for meetings and training.
