About the role
The Japan Company Online Marketing Manager is fully owning the execution of both our Japan Audience Experience and our Japan promotional/ commercial strategies. The role is the Japan marketing representative for the region on the ground, to all other online teams in San Fransisco. It support’s the local marketing team, especially the Online Audience Experience & Promotion manager and the email/CRM promotion manager based in Tokyo. This position report into the Senior Manager of Retail Marketing Japan.
Execute and collaborate with the Tokyo based team in building the marketing calendar and customer experience where content comes together (e.g. site and email).
Contribute to a vision about what a strong customer experience looks like and fuel that vision through process, analytics, testing, innovation, and content to optimize our channel experiences
Responsible for executing, maintaining and optimizing special projects inclusive of pulling reporting, refreshing content, and updating touch points to align with our evolving personalization and customer strategies
The role is the true Japan AE point of contact or representative of the Japan market with other organizational partners/functions in the GOL SF engine.
The Japan GOL Marketing Manager is responsible for executing the site and email marketing for the Japan promotional plan.
Execute the end-to-end implementation of all promotional marketing campaigns in SF.
Execution against the promotional calendar including calendar management, change management, writing marketing briefs, reviewing creative, QA.
Digital operation marketing team liaison + relaying strategies around key promotional events when necessary / during transition to support their targeted marketing efforts
Who you are
Positive attitude and ability to manage change, thrive in a fast-paced environment, deal with ambiguity, and prioritize multiple projects
History of effective cross-functional partnerships and working through multiple levels of an organization
Strong written and verbal communication skills especially the ability to glean insights and tell a story from the data
Able to analyze current business needs and make strategic recommendations to drive the business forward
Customer-centric and has a passion for creating marketing campaigns that are localized to the market
High attention to detail
Tremendous organization and process management skills
Strong analytical skills and strong knowledge of excel are a must , Experience in Omniture a plus
3+ years of marketing, company planning/finance, agency/consulting, or buying/merchandising experience a plus
