We are currently expanding our Group Learning & Development Team and would like to engage a Learning and Development Academy Manager with a passion for innovation to join us on this incredible journey of growth.
The purpose of the L&D Academy Manager is to manage the L&D Academy Pillar of Company Uni functions. These functions include Head Office, country hubs and distribution centre; you will be required to deliver a strategy to the entry and mid-level leadership range through an innovative Academy model which emphasizes the entirety of an individuals development from business competencies, to ethical intelligence and personal well being.
You are/will exhibit:
• An expert in the retail space who will bring solid retail experience to all aspects of learning design.
• Knowledgeable in e-learning instructional design.
• Experienced in program design, i.e. writing a Training & Assessment strategy and mapping learning to a qualification.
• Experienced in designing learning content and assessment.
• Management of best practice organisational performance initiatives and programs under the L&D Banner
• Work with Senior Leaders and & Executive Managers to ensure learning and development integrated with business needs.
• Procurement management and review of world-class services and providers of the Academy
• Regular reporting on performance metrics and ROI and L&D programs.
Ideally you are an experienced L&D Manager who has previously worked across multiple functions with excellent planning and organisation skills and strong attention to detail.
This is a fast paced role therefore you will have a high level of accuracy with the ability to multi task and prioritise. You have strong communication skills with the ability to design and execute training materials. Your computer skills must include knowledge of Microsoft Office, couple with a relevant tertiary qualification. Knowledge on emerging technologies and on-line learning delivery tools would be highly favourable.
You will be a proactive, passionate thought leader, who can positively manage and influence stakeholders and lead the Learning & Development function to deliver tangible outcomes.
