The Division of Continuing Studies invites applications for Leadership Development Trainer. We seek qualified individuals that will assist in meeting the University’s goals and mission through training and content development activities, identifying and addressing organizational development needs.
Successful candidates will be responsible for the following:
In coordination with University representatives, designs, develops and delivers management development program to build effective management skills; will include learner-centric digital content to serve lifelong learners in topic areas identified by University representatives
Develops curriculum/content for participant and instructor materials (course manuals, handouts, etc.), including materials for self-paced eLearning as well as instructor-led training
Monitors and evaluates training programs, assesses results, and implements enhancements/changes where necessary
Reviews curriculum components with subject matter experts based on evaluations/feedback, and makes any necessary changes
Working with leadership, will coach managers on how to enhance their own performance and improve the performance of their employees
Uses effective training methods to ensure participants understand content and core competencies
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or relevant industry experience is required; advanced degrees are preferred.
