Our Data Operating System Infrastructure Team builds and provide tools necessary to allow analysts and data integrators across Company accomplish goals of increasing revenue, reducing churn, enhancing customer satisfaction, and running critical business operations. We are building a data warehouse with the incredible amount of business, usage, and customer data Company possesses, as well as delivering valuable insights to teams that need it.
We seek a hardworking Lead Software Engineer with a passion for data! Join us in building a scalable, easy-to-use data platform that is key to Company's success. Contribute to the vision for data infrastructure and analysis tools and establish standard methodologies for creating systems and datasets for the entire company's use. Your deep technical skills and passion for building a strong data foundation for Company will have a significant impact on revenue and customer experience.

What You’ll Do
Immediate projects include:
Data quality monitoring system built on top of our data pipelines.
Distributed data pipelines for moving data from a variety of source data stores into a centralized warehouse.
Schema management tooling for all of our engineering teams.
Knowledge discovery tool to help our co-workers find out where and how to ask questions that can be answered by our data.
6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Specialist in Python or Scala and respective standard data processing library.
Relational databases and SQL (we use Snowflake as our warehouse, and experience with it is a strong bonus).
Rigor in high code quality, automated testing, and other engineering standard methodologies.
Have strong opinions, weakly-held and rooted in personal experience. Can easily disregard prior-held biases and opinions in the face of new information and use cases.
Delight in building phenomenal tools that are a joy to use!
