Company is seeking an accomplished retail credit model development manager with experience and in-depth knowledge of credit risk models used in stress testing (CCAR) and credit reserves (CECL) to lead a team of model developers. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in retail credit risk model development, management and leadership of multiple teams including setting goals and objectives, resource allocation and project management. In this role, you will contribute to the success of Company’s credit risk modeling initiatives.
The position will interact directly with senior management and regulatory agencies, requiring expert level of presentation, relationship building, and communication skills. The candidate is expected to have ability to influence across the organization and drive model risk management best practices for such models.

Master’s Degree in Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related quantitative field
At least 12 years of experience responsible for major tasks, deliverables, formal methodologies and disciplines for delivering new or enhanced retail credit models at a financial institution regulated by the OCC or Federal Reserve
At least 12 years of advanced statistical modeling experience
At least 10 years of management experience
Programming experience in SAS, R, or Python
Ph.D. in Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related quantitative field
Management experience with model developers
Credit model development and testing
Business analysis and requirements documentation
Subject matter expert in:
Statistical model development methodologies
Statistical model implementation
Credit risk stress testing
Retail collections policies, procedures, and practices
Accounting rules related to charge-off, recovery, OREO, and non-accrual accounting
Accounting rules for credit reserves (CECL)
