Job TitleLaser Operator - 3rd shift
Laser Operator- 3rd shift
Work Schedule: 10:00 pm to 6:30 am, Monday-Friday with Overtime as needed.
What makes a dynamic Laser Operator?
As a Company Laser Operator, you'll be trained on how to operate commercial size copier equipment and program computer batches to load data. You will carry out the task of making adjustments to machines to ensure work accuracy while responding to equipment error messages. You will stage the finished print production for pickup by the material handler. Company strives to be the workplace that you can have fun in as well. We are excited to have Spirit day every Thursday so you can wear your team's apparel instead of the standard Company uniform. We also have Company T-shirt Fridays and a shorts week in the summer.
You can expect the following:
Receiving on the job paid training and work in a climate controlled environment
Printing statements and other client documents using a commercial Xerox, OCE, or Danka machine.
Being mobile and in a standing/walking position with ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
Using your hands to handle objects and to perform keyboarding as well as to reach and grab objects.
We will observe the details to ensure quality meets the client standard.
Successful performance requires good vision including close vision to perform print quality checks of completed work before it goes to production.
Working with associates in team effort to further company goals concerning productivity, safety, quality and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Receiving an attendance bonus on a quarterly and annual basis
Basic qualifications for consideration:
High School Diploma or equivalent, but not required.
Experience in a fast paced, high volume printing environment and understanding of print quality concepts.
Commercial print experience
Strong mechanical aptitude
Experience operating a computer workstation pulling data from servers.
Deep knowledge of commercial print production operation
Ability to work overtime during peak periods
