Take the lead on project and business management for an equities platform in New York. Dedicating yourself to ensuring business efficiency of the group, you’ll use your strong attention to detail to support the day-to-day operations of the group. As an integral member of a supportive team, you’ll provide management with qualitative and quantitative reporting and help find solutions for operational, commercial and strategic issues facing the business.
Working across all areas of the cash equities division, you’ll provide operational support to the various trading desks to ensure deals, risk positions and P&L are both completely and accurately represented in trading systems. You’ll work to protect the business from operational risk by actively identifying exposures and seeking to mitigate them, whilst also providing business analysis and regular management information reports. Working with the broader global team, you’ll be instrumental in building US Cash Business presentations, doing premises management, user reviews and disaster recovery action plans.
You will bring to this role, 2-7 years’ experience within financial services or a similar industry and build strong relationships with finance, risk, operations, IT and treasury. Ideally, you’ll have had some exposure to a cash equities business.
On a day to day basis, you’ll manage client onboarding, due diligence and audits, monitor daily P&L, co-ordinate key relationships with external vendors and spearhead new technology updates.
You’ll have a support structure with senior leadership in New York with dotted lines into global senior leaders.
