Consultant, Project/Program Management – IT Finance Domain

The GCBS Operational Excellence team delivers production stabilization through software enhancements and quick fix for incident that impact production availability. Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.
Drives all aspects of IT Project, Program and Portfolio activity, including collaborating and coordinating across all IT and business segments
Defines project value proposition, scope, work plan, resource needs, timeline and budget for IT projects
Ensure program delivered with quality and meet implementation date & criteria
Manages resources (i.e., capital requirements and human capital, etc.) to complete project/program on time and within budget
Keeps team and leadership updated on project status and risk factors
Responsible for the coordination of sprint delivery and production release with up to 10+ developers
Be extremely data driven and drive/track program execution and delivery excellence
Work with the engineering manager, product owners, architects, developers and SDETs to endure that the product is being delivered with quality on time and within budget
Work with internal IT teams to coordinate project interlocks and deployments
Responsible for multiple projects being implemented in parallel and sprint planning for these projects
Responsible for scrum and agile excellence
12 to 16 years of total software/IT engineering/code development experience. Out of this at least 8+ technical program management experience
5 to 7 Years of experience with Microsoft TFS and Release Planning
Have depth and width of decision making maturity. Be able to gain trust & respect of engineering, dependent teams and stakeholders to deliver results
Ability to manage and influence team members without direct reporting authority
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment; work with minimal supervision while delivering on action items in a timely fashion
Typically requires 12+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8+ years with a Master’s degree; or 5+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience
Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM development methodologies and software development lifecycle principles
Familiarity with TFS / Kanban
SCRUM Master certification a plus
Experience with Oracle Products preferred
