As an IT / Ops Administrator, you'll provide friendly tech support to fellow Rioters in a networked environment and also serve as a secondary Regional Live Service Expert. You'll work independently, coming to the aid of Rioters in technical distress, while providing services including the delivery, installation and setup of computers. Your suite of tech-savvy skills will help you install approved software, diagnose hardware and software ailments and maintain all IT equipment. Your communication skills and friendly personality will comfort any Rioter seeking a high-tech savior. As a Taipei Rioter, you'll join a tight-knit and growing team of professionals that share our obsession with player experience, rejection of convention and passion for gaming. With teams in Player Support, Community, Publishing, and Marketing, Riot Games Taipei is dedicated to creating unique player experiences that show Taiwan/Southeast Asia players they aren't lost in translation. You are: • Experienced: you bring 3+ years supporting Microsoft Windows, OSX 10.10 and higher users; your technical experience is broad, including VoIP troubleshooting, networking (Juniper/Cicso), LAN/ WAN, Active Directory, Google Administration, Adobe Suite, and Autodesk, HW/SW • A communications black belt: you communicate easily in the most appropriate medium, be it email, hallway conversation or messenger pigeon; you're comfortable commingling and collaborating with all brands of Rioter, addressing needs using your friendly people skills • Ambitechstrous: you're pro at fixing the technical problems of any Rioter, Mac or PC, and are knowledgeable in both Windows and Mac versions of Adobe products and the Microsoft Office suite • A problem assassin: you conduct problem reconnaissance and termination with skill and ruthlessness, easily identifying and troubleshooting problems, resolving conflicts and finding solutions; you're probably armed with ITIL knowledge to help you complete IT missions • Player-focused: as a player and IT Front line Support, you have a unique perspective on how technological wizardry enables virtual wizardry and keep a foot in both realms • Willing to grow: ready to scale your skill set and professional repertoire in alignment with Riot's growing needs Your Tech Specs: • Deep knowledge on Windows (7, 8 and 10) Mac OSX and Linux • Strong skills on Routing, Switching, Security (Firewalls and IDS) and WiFi using Cisco and Juniper devices • Knowledge on how Internet works, including DNS, TCP, UDP, Proxy • Local environments: DHCP, DNS, AD, File Services, Anti-Virus, etc. You will: • Be the owner of every IT ticket that comes your way: investigate, troubleshoot, and fix problems, calling in reinforcements when needed; utilize IT systems and procedures to continuously improve service methodology • Maintain, inventory, troubleshoot, and repair computing infrastructure and hardware including printers, workstations, switches, and servers • Communicate with all Rioters, including leadership, to provide key problem status updates and ensure compliance with Riot Games standards and security policies • Be comfortable lifting 35-60 pounds, because Rioters' computers are beefy and fully-loaded with the latest tech • Provide roving support, documentation and training throughout Riot Games TW/SEA • Coordinate between Operations Teams, Infrastructure Teams, Development Teams, Network Operations Center, and Live Producers for daily operations • Available to be on call and quickly restore quality player experiences by working with the Network Operations Center and various technical teams • Provide context and clear communication about live service health and status to both players, Rioters, and partners in a timely fashion • Assist with launching new features, systems, and products Don’t forget to include a resume and cover letter.
