Company Asset Resources, a division of Company, has an opportunity within the Investment Operations division at their Dallas location.
The position will incorporate both accounting and investor reporting functions with tremendous growth opportunities for a highly detail oriented and organized individual. We also look forward to expanding our team for an associate with a passion for optimizing processes to achieve efficiencies.
As an Investment Reporting Analyst, you will perform a variety of investment support functions, including accounting, financial reporting, and analysis. You will work with multiple asset classes, such as equity, fixed income, and asset backed securities in both foreign and USD currencies.
Working in Investment Operations will provide you exposure to many areas of Company including the Company business divisions, Treasury, Finance, Trade Management, Tax, and Legal.
Working closely with these teams, you will support the monthly and quarterly close process as well as new Company initiatives.

Responsibilities may include:
Facilitate the receipt, disbursement, and reconciliation of borrower funds during a loan's prefunding period.
Prepare daily and periodic investment reports, including but not limited to valuations, investor remittances files and other financial statements while coordinating with both internal and external parties related to reporting.
Review account reconciliations, investor files and wire transfers for accuracy.
Interpreting servicing agreements, regulations, standard operating procedures and loan documents to ensure accounting and reporting requirements are being met. Prepare applicable journal entries based on reconciliations.
Participate in new investor meetings and be involved with creating/outlining project plans.
Assist in identifying efficiencies, including process automation of reporting and data feeds, writing project plans and taking the lead in execution of the plans.
Assist with audits.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or Business-related concentration preferred.
Public accounting firm experience/CPA/MBA a plus
3+ years of related experience in financial reporting and analysis.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as effectively collaborate in a team environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
Exceptional Microsoft Office skills (intermediate or advanced knowledge of Excel).
Experience of SQL is a plus.
This job is exempt and therefore not eligible for overtime.
