Your adventure at L’Oréal:
During the 12-month program you will have a central role in one of our Financial Controlling teams, supporting the team or working specifically on your own product range or category for any one of our international brands. On a daily basis you will collaborate with supply chain, category management, finance, sales, logistics department, and marketing. You are given high responsibilities right away and you are a pivotal support for the team.
As an Accounting Intern you will support the team carry out the following tasks:
• Report running and preparation of the monthly book
• A&P Actuals spend for marketing to reconcile
• Update stock in trade tracking spreadsheets
• Stock in Transit PLV accruals
• Forecast Valuations & assist in
• Assist with analysis and investigation of SGA spend & updating actuals
• Rolling forward of files in preparation for month end - P&L, sales summary, balance sheet recs
• Preparation of provisions journals based on promo planner for next month
Are you up for the challenge?
You know the competition is fierce, but you’re used to that. We’ll expect you to be degree qualified (within the last 12 months)or have completed 2 years of study with excellent academic results. Of course it’s not just about University results, we’ll also be looking for strong communication skills, ambition and a commitment to teamwork. We’ll also expect you to hit the ground running, so you will ideally already have work experience or have completed an internship.
