This internship is an exciting opportunity to support improvements in DTNA's manufacturing engineering driven by Industry 4.0 initiatives. Activities will revolve around the industrial internet of things, connected factory, and digitalization of the shop floor.
Support data driven analysis and development to further production goals, increase efficiency, improve quality, etc.
Supporting application development
Develop data analytics and automated reporting solutions
Support deployment of hardware and software to the shop floor
Current state mapping and system analysis
Prototype systems and hardware solutions to improve production process
Maintain high level of documentation
Minimum junior level in a Bachelor’s degree program (or have graduated in the last 12 months) required
GPA of 3.0 or higher required
An attached resume is required
Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related required
Full time availability onsite from September 2018 through March 2019 required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
Travel up to 25% including International (Mexico) required
Data Analysis experience
Software development experience
