This position will support Company’s various legal entity structures primarily focused on intercompany / transfer pricing arrangements, reorganizations and new structures, new business launches, and internal legal entity reviews. Incumbents in this position are expected to have sufficient leadership skills to guide and manage a team, support various internal businesses such as tax and finance, and implement process improvements in the overall legal entity space. This position is for someone who prefers non-standard accounting/finance roles due to the variety of responsibilities.
Successful candidates for this position will have a minimum of 7 years professional experience in similar positions in larger, international companies or public accounting firm. Candidates for this position will have a demonstrable history of leading teams across regions, countries, and business lines. Candidates must also be flexible and able to prioritize as new challenges arise.
Company is seeking an accounting manager to join the Intercompany Accounting team based at its Seattle headquarters to focus on supporting Company’s U.S. and international transfer pricing transactions. The Intercompany Manager candidate should have strong communication & organizational skills and be comfortable working in a dynamic team environment. Company’s intercompany group deals with all aspects of the company's global transfer pricing arrangements. This includes developing, executing and maintaining the company’s inter-company transfer pricing models, assisting with statutory audits, supporting business and planning strategies, and M&A integration.
Ownership of various intercompany processes and controllership goals
Build relationships across multiple teams within Company to foster a collaborative and productive working relationship
Ownership of various transfer pricing charges and review procedures
Involvement in new structures, reorganization, and acquisitions as it relates to intercompany relationships
Collaboration with transfer pricing tax team for new business initiatives
Support intercompany settlement and treasury funding forecast
Support transfer pricing statutory audit
Maintenance and monitoring of transfer pricing automation system
Collaboration with software technical team to resolve system issues and improve system performance
Managing and attracting talent into Company
Degree in accounting or related field with sufficient experience to sit for the CPA exam (a CPA license is not required for this position)
7+ years of related experience in large companies
CPA (or equivalent)
Big 4 public accounting experience with Fortune 500 clients
Strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills
Solid organizational skills along with an aptitude for information technology
A demonstrated history of solving multiple and complex operational and accounting challenges
Experience in Intercompany / Transfer Pricing accounting in multinational companies
Working understanding of an internal control framework (specifically COSO) and a solid understanding of the concepts of control design and operational efficiency
Operational accounting experience with one or more Fortune 500 companies
Experience working in a fast paced environment similar to a high tech start-up
Aptitude for leading teams; influencing and galvanizing others to follow you toward a solution
Excellent analytical skills
Experience with documenting accounting conclusions related support
