OVERVIEW
WE tv is seeking an experienced and creative marketer to join the WE tv integrated marketing team as a Manager. This position will partner with the VP/Director to develop and execute revenue-generation programs for advertising partners, as well as assist in promoting the values and opportunities of the network to the media sales community. We are looking for a candidate who is able to manage projects independently, and collaborate with multiple internal departments and external vendors to bring multi-platform and unique marketing programs to life.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Respond to client RFPs, generating cross-platform customized marketing opportunities for clients at various spend levels.
• Manage sponsorship executions including on and off-air added value elements.
• Oversee production shoots for on-air added value.
• Provide creative insight on sales initiatives and marketing elements.
• Serve as a direct report for the team Coordinator.
• Responsible for the network’s trade advertising campaign.
• Manage the print and digital collateral, digital promotion, trade messaging, etc.
• Develop new sponsorable digital opportunities and create packages for existing opportunities.
• Reinforce and inform the WE tv sales team on updates to network branding, programming, production and digital initiatives.
• Manage agency stunts and industry events.
• Update sales materials including presentations, one-sheets and an internal website with the latest programming and sponsorship information.
• Attend client meetings to present marketing opportunities.
• Support the VP/Director in the writing of Upfront and Scatter presentations and the creation of related materials.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 5-7 years of experience at a media company; preferably with production experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a specialty in writing sales materials.
• Media knowledge across all platforms.
• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office programs including PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Occasional travel required (5-10%).
• BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications or similar field.
