The School of International Letters and Cultures is seeking motivated, organized, and hard-working graders for a mid-sized (60+ students) Spanish-language course. Expected to grade writing assignments and video- voice-recordings in session A, B, and C; 10 hours a week. Advanced proficiency in Spanish is required.
Grading writing assignments and video-voice-recordings over the course of the semester, with a quick turnaround time
Bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment; OR, Four years of progressively responsible instructional or subject work experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Experience in following detailed instructions
Experience in work that requires quick turnaround
Experience working effectively and maintaining composure under pressure
Experience working independently and utilizing effective communication/problem solving skills to identify issues, concerns and interests and provide effective solutions
Evidence of having advanced-low proficiency in Spanish, according to the ACTFL guidelines, or native speaker Company website-actfl-can-do-statements.
Experience in technology, including video-conference tools, FERPA training.
Experience with student grading and providing written feedback.
Demonstrated knowledge of Spanish grammar.
Office and/or online environment: Work will be supervised.
The School of International Letters & Cultures is the primary home for the study of international languages and cultures at Company.
