The company was founded by Pasquale Rotella, and has been based in Los Angeles since it was formed in 1993.
Company Events is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Project Manager to support the responsibilities of Company’s Director, Film & Video Production and manage department projects and timelines. The Director, Film and Video Production projects are both Festival related and also support the day-to-day internal film/photo department needs.
Facilitate and manage intake, processing, deployment and management of Company’s photographic Digital Asset Management System (DAMS)
Support process optimization for adding new photographic content to our DAMS quickly and efficiently, while ensuring all content meets Company’s high bar for quality and aligns with brand standards
Manage detailed categorization and tracking of all existing content and new content as it is ingested
Socialize project timelines as needed and maintain accountability on deliverables
Provide communication on the progress of critical and high priority tasks
Effectively manage schedules and resource allocation
Complete a broad variety of film/video dept. related administrative tasks including completing expense reports; composing and preparing various correspondences
Interface with project teams as needed, on site including but not limited to: production, operations, VIP, marketing, media, talent booking, PR, social, and finance
Support all in-house video shoots
Manage all Festival photo & video requests for all artists, ensuring all documents have been filled out and COI’s have been received
Organize, compile and submit event production advances
Manage freelance photographers and ensure all photo deliveries have been reviewed and approved
Ensure all approved photos have been properly tagged and up-loaded to Widen
Submit all film & photo invoices, ensuring they are submitted in a timely fashion with all needed paperwork
Send Deal Memo’s to all freelance photographers prior to day of show
Support increase of efficiency in overall workflow and execution of production elements
Support film production teams on site
Uses personal vehicle to travel to business engagements; may travel out of town on business
Assists with other duties as assigned on a regular or occasional basis
3+ years film and/or music on site production experience
3+ years administrative experience
2+ years of design, digital production or asset management experience
Experience working with asset management software (Widen, Canto, Sprinklr), spreadsheet development, data mapping and QA is a plus
Experience in Adobe Lightroom is a plus
Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments
May work in drastic temperature climates
Must be willing to work during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines
